### Product Description KCH-144 (Kaveri Kabaddi) is a high-yielding **BG-II hybrid cotton seed** developed by Kaveri Seed Company Ltd. The recommended seed rate is 1.5 to 2 packets per acre (each packet contains 475 gm of seeds). Incorporate organic matter. 2. **Seed Treatment**: Treat seeds with recommended fungicide (e.g., Carboxin + Thiram) and insecticide (e.g., Imidacloprid) to prevent early pest and disease incidence. 3. **Sowing**: Sow seeds at a depth of 2-3 cm in rows with recommended spacing. Ensure adequate soil moisture. 4. **Irrigation**: Irrigate immediately after sowing. Subsequent irrigations as per crop requirement. 5. **Fertilizer Application**: Apply basal dose of NPK as per soil test recommendations. Top dress with nitrogen at squaring and flowering stages. 6. **Weed Management**: Use pre-emergence herbicide (e.g., Pendimethalin) and hand weeding as needed. 7. **Pest Monitoring**: Regularly scout for pests.
